  2. See every pending challan, checked against real, live challan records.

About Lok Adalat

A Lok Adalat (people’s court) is a sitting organised by the Legal Services Authorities to settle cases by agreement, including many traffic challans.

National Lok Adalats are held across India several times a year on dates announced by NALSA, and state and district authorities can hold extra sittings.

Not every challan is eligible. Serious offences, such as drunk driving, usually have to go through the regular court.

Questions about Delhi challans

How do I check my Delhi traffic challan online?

Enter your vehicle number on DigiChallan. We check your vehicle against real, live challan records and show every pending challan with its amount and offence, so you can pick how to settle each one.

Can a Delhi Traffic Police challan be settled at a discount?

Yes, many can, through Lok Adalat. A verified advocate enrolled in Delhi represents your case, and the settlement can reduce the amount by up to 50%, depending on the challan. You see the exact amount before you pay.

My challan has gone to the Virtual Court. Can I still settle it?

Yes. Challans that have moved to the Delhi Virtual Court can still be paid in full, and many can still be taken to Lok Adalat. Search your vehicle number and we show the options for that challan.

How long does Lok Adalat settlement take in Delhi?

It depends on the next Lok Adalat sitting, so Smart Pay usually takes 7 days to 3 months. If you need the challan cleared quickly, for example to sell the vehicle, choose Direct Pay.

My vehicle is registered outside Delhi. Does that matter?

No. The challan belongs to where the offence happened, not where the vehicle is registered. You can check and settle a Delhi challan for any vehicle.
